This paper aims to discuss the role of museums in people-led urban regeneration through case studies. The increasing focus on cultural urban regeneration is driven by the need to enhance the quality of life for residents and the local community. Museums, by emphasizing their socio-cultural roles, contribute to the improvement of local life by connecting people to their environment and cultural identity. In this context, this paper examines people-led urban regeneration concerning museum activities, specifically analyzing the case of Donuimun Museum Village. Donuimun Museum Village serves as a repository of memories, preserving and showcasing the stories of ordinary individuals that are easily shared and empathized with. This paper analyzes exhibitions and public engagement programs held in museums that focus on solidarity, inclusion, capacity building, and the local identity of communities. It discusses the key considerations for people-led urban regeneration.

Generation of wear particles in the artificial joint during action or movement is a serious issue and leads to aseptic loosening of joint. Research in the field of bio-tribology trying to evaluate biomaterials with minimum wear loss. Silicon nitride (Si3N4) is non-oxide ceramic suggested as an alternative for hip/knee joint replacement. Si3N4 against steel (ASTM 316L) is a material combination in the category of Ceramic on Metal (CoM) for artificial hip/knee joint. In this paper, an attempt has been made to evaluate the optimum proportion of % hexagonal boron nitride (hBN) by volume in Si3N4 to minimize volumetric wear loss (VWL) against steel. The experiments were conducted according to Design of Experiments (DoE) – Taguchi method to find the optimum level of load and % volume of hBN. Taguchi analysis presents 15N load and 12% volume of hBN is optimum to minimize wear loss. Using experimental results, ANN model trained, tested and implemented to predict results of VWL at different loading condition

In this manuscript we obtain the solition solution of nonlinear evolution Kaup-Kupershimdt (KK) equation with different initial conditions by using homotopy perturbation transform method, we also discussed the convergence analysis of the proposed method for Kaup-Kupershimdt equation. The Solution obtained by HPTM is an infinite series converges quickly to the exact solution. The numerical results are compared with the other analytical and numerical techniques, which shows only few terms are required to attain the accurate solution. Numerical results are presented in tabular (TABLE: 1 -2) form. Numerical results obtained using HPTM shows accuracy and reliability of proposed technique to solve nonlinear equations as HPTM does not depends on discretization, unjustified assumptions, perturbation and linearization, and less computational work is required as compared to other analytical and numerical techniques.

Objective: Occupational heat stress is a one of the major issues affecting workers’ health and performance in tropical countries such as Malaysia. Traffic policemen who ride motorcycles are usually working in a hot condition environmentally where the outdoor temperatures are high during their working hours. This then can lead to a progression of symptoms on the body and can result in heat rashes, heat exhaustion, dehydration, heat syncope, heat cramps and heat stroke. \nResult: The purpose of this study is to determine and differentiate the physiological parameters between before the start of shift, after 2 hours of working and after 8 hours of working among respondents.\nConclusion: Traffic policemen in Kuala Lumpur were less exposed to high temperatures where the temperature was 28˚C. Therefore, there was a significant difference (p<0.001) of body core temperature, diastolic and systolic blood pressure, and heart rate between before shift, after 2 hours of working, and after 8 hours of working.\nKeyword: heat stress, traffic policemen, Kuala Lumpur.

This study investigates the impact of globalization (defined as phasing-out of the MFA/ATC) on working conditions of textile & apparel workers in general and female workers in particular for Pakistan. We found that the impact of the elimination of the MFA/ATC on workers of the textile & apparel sector is negative and statistically insignificant. The working conditions of workers in textile & apparel sector are not different relative to other sectors. While female working conditions deteriorated as a result of the MFA/ATC phased-out relative to male and compared with other industries. Our findings are robust in a sense that the direction of the impact remains the same and statistically significant even after performing sensitivity analysis. We also controlled for provincial heterogeneity, the results showed minor correction in magnitude but remains negative and statistically significant. We also addressed treatment selection bias by performing Propensity Score analysis and found similar results.

Paddy (husk) grains are the most important concerns to understand the behavior of physico-mechanical properties and seasonal nature due to commercialization. The aim of research was to study the effects of loading, moisture dependent’s on the shearing failure of paddy textures with a view to understand its stability during milling, processing, deformation and storage. The experiments were comprised into three paddy (husk) textures (Mehak, Shua92 and 19/A NIA), moisture (12.0, 14.3 and 17.1%) and loading dependents (3, 6, and 9 mm.s-1). Furthermore, loading dependents were employed by attaching the fabricated shear blade with a probe through texture analyzer. The results showed that the highest shearing failure was obtained for Mehak at 12.0% on 3 mm.s-1; while the lowest corresponded to 17.10 % for 19/A NIA at 6 mm.s-1. Thus, shearing failure of paddy textures was highly significant (p<0.05) at 17.10% on 9 mm.s-1.The highest bulk density of paddy textures was measured at 17.7% for 19/A NIA, while lowest corresponded to 12.0% for Mehek. Present research findings have been revealed that the physico-mechanical properties of Paddy (husk) grain should be considered for designing of harvesting, processing and storage of industrial machinery and their applications to the related industries.

The system helps in preventing the loss of money from the lack of unavailable information. Also the system helps in improving and developing the operation of maintenance procedure to get a high quality of service

Every day, an enormous amount of terabyte authentication data is generated. These data are generally stored, analyzed and retrieved according to different computational methods. The need of stored, analyzed and retrieved these data efficiently become a must. The aim of the proposed system is to build an authentication system that determine the identity of the cloud users based on their fingerprints. This system uses image processing techniques to analyze and retrieve the user data. The system shows that applying all processing of registering new user, converting and checking fingerprints and saving fingerprints on the mobile side results that the average time consumed to process the data is 16 second. The system shows that applying all processing of registering new user, converting and checking fingerprints and saving fingerprints on the server side with keeping the interface on the mobile side results that the average time consumed to process the data is 4.11 second. The system will help cloud users to finish the authentication process efficiently.
