In this study, were investigated histological investigation of gonadal development of the red mullet (Mullus barbatus L., 1758) in the Gulf of Antalya. The specimens (n=890) were captured monthly from their natural sites. The gonads of them were dissected as soon as and fixed in 10 % neutral buffered formaldehyde. They were embedded in paraffin blocks after several histo-chemical processes. Sectioned tissue samples at 5µm were stained by Haematoxylin-eosin and Masson Trichrome techniques. Histologically female individuals were found to be in immature female, chromatin-nucleolus, perinucleolus, cortical alveoli, vitellogenesis, maturity and post-ovulation stages. Male individuals were found in spermatogenesis, spermiogenesis, spermiation, sperm release and resting stages. Evaluated from the data was determined, these fishes reproductive from may to semptember, egg diameters between 31,00±15 and 428,00±40 µm.

The article describes the results of researching a corporate factor as a factor to enhance management efficiency in the contemporary context. As a result of a research undertaken based on open sources, a necessity to enhance the role of the corporate culture in a management system has been substantiated, main factors determining the growth of significance and efficiency of socio-cultural and moral-and-ethical tools in management have been disclosed. The characteristics of a management system are necessitated both by the laws and consistent patterns of economy and management, the level of development of a theoretical and practical management, as well as by historical and geographical factors, national and cultural peculiarities, industry-specific features, as well as by the personal properties and potential of the organizations’ managers. The functions that a corporate culture implements suggest a broad range of tasks addressed today with its help by the organizations, and, moreover, accentuate the importance of such a social institute. Setting up a strong positive corporate culture aligned with the development strategy is a prerequisite for an effective management, survivability and competitiveness of organizations in the present-day conditions.

The present article analyzes the media socialization as a synthetic expression of different characteristics of the social environment in the form of institutions, communities and values. The analysis is focused on media literacy as a key prerequisite of media socialization and as a requirement for adequate formation of social capital in modern societies in terms of dynamic sociality, high mobility, availability of various resources and community capabilities premised on the development of digitization. The paper traces the role of media, family, and the education themselves as important factors for media socialization. Social capital is shown as a dominant concept, related to media that are basic tools of education and socio-cultural processes in modern times.\nThe analysis is based on three rounds of European Social Survey (ESS) - national representative surveys carried out in 2006, 2009, and 2012/2013, that revealed changes in Bulgarian life in: social life, family cohesion, education specifics. The empirical basis of this article is supplemented with data from South-West university projects conducted in 2013 and in 2015.\nThe main conclusion of the article is that media socialization in contemporary Bulgarian conditions has a positive perspective through its development in digital realities.

Castor plant (Ricinus communis L.) is a versatile plant with great adaptability and multiple applications: biofuel, medicine, industrial among others. The aim of this work was to evaluate the productive potential of four varieties of castor oil plants for biodiesel production in arid lands of México. The experiment was set up in a randomized block design with split plot plots arrangement and three replicates. The large plot was the variety and the small plot the population density. The varieties of castor oil plants used were Rincon, Cedaso, Treinta y seis and Krishna. Population densities were 13,888, 9,259 and 6,944 plants ha-1, with beds of 1.20 m width and distances of 0.60, 0.90 and 1.20 m between plants. The variables measured were percentage of germination, days to flowering, leaf area, dry weight and seed yield. Data was analyzed by variance and means tests (HSD at α = 0.05) and MANOVA through the SAS program version 9.0. The data showed significant differences in the seed yield for the four varieties of castor plants, reaching yields of up to 945 kg ha-1in a single harvest. Krishna variety showed the best developmental and agronomic characteristics for cultivation in arid region of Comarca Lagunera in Mexico and it may be an option for biodiesel production purposes.

Modern theories of economic growth view human capital as one of its key factors, since it is human capital that can provide economic growth not only by increasing labor productivity, but also through the generation and implementation of new ideas and innovations, in addition, it facilitates their perception and dissemination.\nThe methodological basis of the research is basically a dialectical and systematic approach to the analysis of the facts in question. The research is based on a wide use of methods of analysis and synthesis, factor analysis and statistical analysis.\nThe result is the calculation of the consolidated index of human capital management in the regions of the Russian Federation and the development of a program for the development of the intellectual and innovative potential of human capital.\nThe obtained results allow complementing existing studies of human capital in terms of interaction with the intellectual and innovative potential. The practical importance of the study is to formulate recommendations for improving the management of human capital in the region and the development in it of the prerequisites and factors necessary for innovative and scientific activities.\nFor most regions of Russia, it is necessary to develop and modernize existing programs for the development of human capital, in order to improve the economic potential in innovative areas, taking into account the specifics of each region. For Tatarstan, emphasis should be laid on the preparation of innovative programs for territorial clusters, the territory of advanced development and special economic zones, the creation and development of which is laid down in the Tatarstan strategic development program until 2030, with the use of the main factor – human capital.

This study aimed at investigating the effect of board characteristics and ownership structure on the liquidity risk based on a sample of 13 Jordanian commercial banks during the period 2009-2016.\nLiquidity risk was measured by the ratio of cash and investments to total deposits. Three board characteristics were used, namely; board size, CEO duality and board independence, in addition to three ownership structure measures that include institutional ownership, foreign ownership and ownership concentration.\nUsing panel data regression, the study found that board independence and CEO duality have a positive and significant effect on banks\' liquidity, and thus adversely affect liquidity risk. While the ownership of institutional investors has a negative and significant effect on liquidity ratio, thus, positive effects on liquidity risk.\nStudy\'s findings suggest that effective liquidity risk management requires more independent directors in the board, complete separation between the position of CEO and the Chairman and a lower ownership ratio held by institutional investors

In this paper, a novel steganography algorithm based on local reference edge detection technique and exclusive disjunction (XOR) property is proposed. Human eyes are less sensitive towards intensity changes in the sharp edge region compared to the uniform region of the image. Because of this, the secret message bits have been embedded in the sharp regions by local reference pixels that are located in the edge blocks. The predefined sets of pixels are easily identified with less computational complexity in the stego image. The embedding algorithm improved in terms of security and capacity using bit plane dependent XOR coding technique that makes least possible alterations in LSB bits of edge pixels. The existing edge-based steganography techniques provide better imperceptibility but relatively limits the embedding capacity. The proposed method efficiently improves the embedding capacity with an acceptable range of imperceptibility and robustness. The simulation results evaluated using full reference image quality assessment method, it exhibits better embedding capacity (bpp) compared to existing steganography techniques retaining the values of PSNR and structural similarity (SSIM).
